Dog license application
Each dog living in Shanghai must have a dog licenseupdated every year.
You need to go to the local police department or your area's community center to obtain information about getting a dog license. You need to prepare your passport copy, the 3 inch picture of your dog, your contract of your residence and other documents for the application.
You need to be prepared to pay for the license fee between RMB100 and RMB2000 depending on the area of where you live.
There will be no license required for cat owners.
